Diamond & Onyx Art Deco Ring in Platinum and 18ct Gold - Secondhand

A seventeen stone Art Deco diamond and onyx ring in platinum and 18ct yellow gold.  The ring has a central square trap cut diamond rubover set in a diamond shape box collet.  This is surrounded by a border of four onyx creating a circular border.  Set above and below this is a curving graduating row of five old single cut diamonds all grain set with a rubover edge.  Either side is a single cut diamond rubover box collet set.  All the settings are in platinum with a millegrain edge.  This leads to the uniform shoulders and plain D-shape shank all in yellow gold.

Diamonds 1 @ 4.90 x 4.80 x 3.80mm, weighing 0.70ct 

Assessed as colour H/I and clarity VS

2 @ 1.80 each, weighing 0.02ct each

10 @ 1.00 - 1.60mm each, 0.075 - 0.02ct each

Total diamond weight 0.82ct 

Tested as platinum and 18ct gold
